Along
the y-axis the different communication aspects are listet (e.g.
Importance, Quality of Communication). The ratings of a given aspect
are shown on the x-axis on a scale from “0” to
“100” and connected with a vertikal line. For each
of the
three directions of communication a different line is available: red
for the communication with superiors, blue for the communication with
colleagues and green for the communication with subordinates.
The
values are obtained through a comparison of an organizational unit with
a norm sample of more than 2000 persons from different organizations.
They constitute a benchmark where a value of “50”
represent
the averange.

At a glance one can
detect e.g.:
- Deficits in the Communication Quality
and Channel Openness with respect to the communication with colleagues
(left circles)
- as well as relatively high
rated Trust in the communication with superiors (right circle).
The
example shows that the communication analysis with KomminO provides a
detailed picture of the organizational communicatioin. The results can
serve to simply get an idea of the present situation in in the
organization, to prepare and introduce definite structural measures
(e.g. individual coaching, quality circle) or to accompany the
evaluation of restructuring measures (e.g. also the introduction of new
communication media).
